Many children line up for registration and waited anxiously at their seats as they watched a puppet show organized by Hope Worldwide Philippines, an international non-government organization whose programs focus on physically and sexually abused children last May 11 at the community center.
The puppet show was about the rights and safety of children from child abuse. The said puppet show featured Alisto Kid, a boy puppet who teaches children about their rights as human beings. The show became interactive when Alisto Kid calls four children at the front to read some rights of children. Another part of the puppet show featured puppets Isabel and Alicia, who teach children about child abuse prevention.
According to Migs Migriño, one of the organizers of the puppet show said that they have already been teaching children before about child rights through seminars and school-based lectures.
